Ruth Ann Ray, CLC, CCP, CCT - Sr. Healthcare Compliance & Management Advisor
Ms. Ray brings an unusually informed perspective to the marketplace through her 20+ years of experience as a national consultant, practice administrator, managed care and corporate hospital director. She has served as Director of Practice Services at Physician Services of America, traveling nationally to support all of their Primary Care Centers. As Corporate Director of Physician Services for a healthcare system in Kentucky, she was responsible for 82 personnel located in three cities supporting physicians on staff of five hospitals. Ms. Ray speaks and writes for HFMA, MGMA, the Medical Office Manager, and other associations and publications.

Lori Biacchi, MHA, RHIA
Lori served as a Manager in the Health Care Consulting Practice at a national accounting firm, providing consulting services and implementing process improvements for numerous health care clients. She previously served as Director of Health Records for a 651 bed health system providing a continuum of care through physician practices, home health services, and three acute care hospitals. Also, Lori has contracted as a consultant to long-term care and government facilities.

Martin's career has included leadership positions with public and private healthcare systems, most recently as Corporate Compliance/HIPAA Privacy Officer for a long-term acute care hospital system with facilities in 5 states. He has also served as Compliance Officer for a healthcare finance and consulting company. Martin has authored manuals on compliance and HIPAA that have been and are being used by healthcare providers throughout the United States. He is a member of the Health Care Compliance Association, American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and is president of his local chapter of the National Association of Health Services Executive (NAHSE).

Karen Botts
Karen began a career in programming and data processing in 1965 at the University of New Mexico. For the past 8 years, she has been working in dozens of medical clinics around the southwest. Her work has included: training in use of computerized systems, performing practice conversions (manual to computer system, and old system to new system); directed programming modifications for operations improvement; redesigned office operations; and supported healthcare users in various computer environments. Karen specializes in the successful application of computer solutions to healthcare.

Marion Neal
Marion has been providing advanced technical solutions and services for healthcare clients for over 20 years. He was managing partner for a practice management system and services firm for 15 years, during which time he directed billing services, early use of personal computers in practice management, development of XML-based data transport, and pioneered the use of browser-based clients for ASP-type solutions. He directed implementation of what was at the time, the largest, paperless, outpatient electronic patient record system in the world. Marion has developed numerous websites for healthcare member organizations, one of which won a national award for 'Most Innovative Use of Technology.' Marion has been developing HIPAA solutions since early 2001, and is the chief architect for the HIPAASimple.com site.
